【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60079specifiesgeneralandtestingrequirementsforelectricalresistancetraceheatersforapplicationinexplosivegasatmospheres.Thestandardcoverstraceheatersthatmaycompriseeitherfactory-orfield-(work-site)assembledunits,andwhichmaybeseriesheatingcables,parallelheatingcablesorheatingpadsandheatingpanelsthathavebeenassembledand/orterminatedinaccordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstructions.Thisstandardalsoincludesrequirementsforterminationassembliesandcontrolmethodsusedwithtraceheating.ThehazardousareasreferredtobythisstandardarethosedefinedinIEC60079-10.WherearequirementofthisstandardconflictswitharequirementofIEC60079-0,therequirementofthisstandardshalltakeprecedence.
