【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversashipboardoilpollutionabatementsystem(OPAS)thatprocessesoilywasteandallowsselectivesuctionfromalloilywasteholdingtanks,wasteoil,dirtyoil,anddraintanksandthebilgesofalloilywatergeneratingspacesforoperationwithintheU.S.ContiguousZoneasexceptedbylocalregulatoryauthorities.Thisspecificationcoversthesystemfromthepointofenteringthesystemuntiltheoil-watermixtureistreatedanddischargedoverboard.Thisincludesminimizingoilywastegeneration,theoilywasteholdingtank,theoil-waterseparationdevice,thecontrolsystem,feedandrecirculationpump(s),asecondarytreatmentdevice,andanautomaticstoppingdevicecapableofdetecting15ppmoilinthewastestream.Fig.1providesageneralsystemschematictoutilizeforsystemconfiguration.
