【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportcomplementsISO8879byprovidingadditionalturorialinformation.Itisnotintended,andshouldnotberegarded,asanextention,modification,orinterpretationofISO8879.TheSGMLlanguagecontainsanumberofcomponents,someofwhichareoptionalfeatures.Thetutorialinformationcoversthemaincomponentsofthelanguageonly;notablyadiscussionofLINK,CONCUR,andDATATAGisoutsidethescopeofthisTechnicalReport.TheintendedaudienceismainlydocumenttypedesignersalreadyfamiliarwiththebasicconceptsofSGML,butrequiringmoretutorialinformationontechniquesforusingSGMLforvariousapplications.Subclauses5.3and8.4arewritteninthestyleofa"UserGuide"andcanbeusedasabasisforend-userdocumentation.ForanintroductorytutorialonSGMLtheannexesofISO8879canbeused.ThisTechnicalReportincludesnotesontheanalysisofadocumentpriortothewritingofaformaldocumenttypedefinition,andaseriesofexamples.Theprincipalexampleisforageneraldocumenttype,formallydefinedasanexampleinclauseE.1ofISO8879.Othersofageneralnatureareforletterandmemorandum,spreadsheet,mathematics,andthemixingoftextandgraphics.ThoseforlanguageapplicationsincludeScandinavianrunes,Japanese,aEuropeanmultilingualdocument,andmixingtextinlanguageswrittenfromlefttorightandfromrighttoleft.NOTE—ThroughoutthisTechnicalReporttermslike"iskeyedin",and"withkeyboardlng"areused.Thisdoesnotneccessarilyimplythatthemarkupistobeaddedexplicitlybyauser;fortextentryonewouldexpectstructured,contextsensitive,editorstobeused,orthemarkupaddedbyapplicationprograms,e.g.inthecaseofinterchangeofspread-sheets.
