【摘要】:Thistestmethodisameansofdeterminingthecrushingstrengthofacatalystinabed.Techniquestomeasurethecrushingstrengthofformedcatalystparticlesislimitedtocrushingofindividualparticles,whichmaynotberelatedtohowthecatalystwillcrushinareactororbed.Forsomecatalysts,suchasgranules,thistechniquemaybetheonlyviablemethodforobtainingcrushingstrength.Theproductionoffinesinareactorisnotdesiredbecauseofthepotentialofbedcompactionandthepressurebuildupinthereactor.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofbulkcrushstrengthofabedofformedcatalystparticles1/32to3/16in.(0.8to4.8mm)indiameterandisintendedtoprovideinformationconcerningtheabilityofthecatalystmaterialtomaintainphysicalintegrity.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
